May 2024 'Close One'

We had Michael Jackson introducing shorts, we explored Erdington at 2am, and our faces got blasted with Hollywood 2DFX. We had a double bill of animators arguing with their sassy animated pals, Tom CJ Brown teased us, and we found out the dangers of putting Tat Vision in a MoCap suit.

Louis also had a CLOSE ONE after getting mangled in a car accident. Luckily the kindly Papier Mache 'Penny' held him close and carried him through his presenting duties

Our special guest was Tim Searle. For over 30 years Tim has developed, directed and produced award-winning animation including: Danger Mouse, Mr Bean, Dennis & Gnasher, Have I Got News for You, I am Not An Animal, 2DTV, Horrible Histories and more.

Thanks to everyone who came and take part. We have such a unique, energetic, loving community building here. It was also nice to see a glut submissions based on the prompt. There's absolutely no need to use it, but I'm glad people found it useful.
