Overlap is a fun quarterly show & tell night for animators and animation lovers to show work, share ideas and hang out.

We'll be at Nortons Digbeth with feature film character animator Michael Morgan, a new BAFTA-nominated short, and we'll be show&telling some of our strongest selection of animations yet. Probably with some weird performance / costumed mayhem in the mix.

Michael Morgan, is a senior character animator currently working at Sony Pictures Imageworks. Michael has been in the VFX for over 20 years. Starting on Clone Wars, he's since worked on the likes Black Panther, Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 2, Venom and Spider-Man: No Way Home!

We'll also get to see BAFTA-nominated Visible Mending two days before the awards take place. The film was directed by Samantha Moore, and animated at Second Home Studios. The film's producer Tilley Bancroft will be with us to talk about the behind the scenes.

If that wasn't enough we'll be joined by Sheetal Thankey. Sheetal is a Animation Director, Illustrator and 2D Animator from Brum, based in London. She’s worked on everything from 'Hey Duggee' and 'Gumball' to commercials with studios like Passion, Nexus, Blink, Art & Graft.
